She initially worked at Hospital University Science Malaysia in Kelantan. In 2001-2003 she persued her training in Infectious Disease in Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Newcastle Hospital, United Kingdom. She is the honorary lecturer for postgraduate medical students at Hospital University Science Malaysia, Kelantan. Dr Anusha Shunmugarajoo (My ICID President & Infectious Disease Physician @Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Rahimah) Dr Anusha received her MMED from University of Malaya and subsequently completed her fellowship in Infectious Disease in 2016. She is the Head of the Infectious Disease unit of Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah since 2016. She was also at the forefront in the planning and implementation of the COVID-19 preparedness plan in Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah and was actively involved as a member in the COVID-19 Mortality Review Committee. She has published multiple articles in various academic journals and has presented in both international and national events. She is currently the President of the Malaysian Society of Infectious Control and Infectious Diseases (MyICID) since 2020. Dr Anusha has received several excellence awards in recognition of her excellent service by the Ministry of Health in 2014 and 2018. Assoc. Prof. Pang Yong Kek (Consultant Respiratory Physician @University of Malaya Medical Centre) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pang Yong Kek received his MRCP (UK) from the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 1998, and MD from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1993. Prof. Pang was involved in the publication of multiple articles in academic journals and has served as an invited speaker in international and national events. He has acted as chairperson and contributed as part of the organising committee for the Malaysian Thoracic Society (MTS) Annual Congress since 2009. Prof. Pang is the current President of MTS since 2021. Prof. Pang has received several awards recognising his excellent service by Universiti Malaya. His areas of expertise include respiratory diseases, specifically respiratory and chest medicine, where he is also actively involved in local and internal clinical studies. Dr Lim Han Hua (Infectious Disease Physician @Hospital Umum Sarawak) Dr Lim received his MRCP (UK) in 2012 and subsequently completed his fellowship training in Infectious Disease in 2018. He is currently an Infectious Disease Physician at Hospital Umum Sarawak since 2018. Dr Lim has published several articles in various academic journals and has presented in both international and national events. Dr Suraya Hanim binti Abdullah Hashim (Infectious Disease Physician @Hospital Ampang) Dr Suraya received her MMED from University of Malaya in 2012 and subsequently completed her fellowship training in Infectious Disease at Hospital Sungai Buloh and Royal Melbourne Hospital in 2017. She is currently an Infectious Disease Physician at Hospital Ampang since 2018. She also actively publishes articles in various academic journals and has presented in both international and national events. Dr Muniswaran Ganeshan (O&G Consultant, Maternal-Feto Specialist @Hospital Tunku Azizah (Kuala Lumpur Women & Children Hospital)) DR MUNISWARAN GANESHAN is the Unit Lead and Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist attached to Kuala Lumpur General Hospital. He is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in UK and Masters in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from University Malaya in 2011. He has been on the OGSM Council since 2016. DR MUNISWARAN has contributed to authoring the Malaysian guidelines/manuals involving pregnancy for thromboembolism and hypertensive disorder and a handbook in obstetrics emergencies.He has also served as an invited speaker in various national events. Dr Chan Kwai Cheng (Consultant Paediatrician @Hospital Pulau Pinang) Dr Chan received her MRCP (Paed) from the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 1998 and subsequently completed her fellowship training in Paediatric Infectious Disease. She is currently a Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Infectious Disease Specialist at Hospital Pulau Pinang. Dr Chan has published several articles in academic journals and has presented in both international and national events. Her areas of interest include HIV, tuberculosis and AMR. Dr Alan Ch'ng (Consultant Geriatrician @Hospital Seberang Jaya) Dr Ch'ng completed fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, University of Malaya Medical Centre and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore in 2015. Currently, he heads the geriatric service for Penang. He is the President of the Postgraduate Medical Education Society and Deputy Head of Clinical Research Centre, Seberang Jaya Hospital; Vice-President of Penang Dementia Association; Honorary Treasurer of the Malaysian Society of Geriatric Medicine, and council member of the Fragility Fracture Network of Malaysia. He has contributed as an author in various Malaysian Clinical Practice Guidelines such as osteoporosis, management of ischaemic stroke, falls prevention in hospitals, and pain management in older people. Dr Nik Mohd Hafiz bin Mohd Fuzi (Principal Assistant Director @Communicable Disease Control (CDC) Unit Kelantan State Health Department) Dr Nik graduated with MBBS from International Islamic University Malaysia. He furthered his studies in Public Health and was awarded Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2017. Currently, he is a public health physician and is the Principal Assistant Director of Communicable Disease Control (CDC) Unit at Kelantan State Health Department. Dr Nik has published articles in various academic journals and has presented in both international and national events. He has received several excellence awards in recognition of his excellent service by the Ministry of Health in 2011 and 2012.
